Leora Cheshin has been a commercial and artistic photograper for 25 years. Her works are in private collections in Israel, England and the United States and have been published in various magazines, books, cards and calendars.
She specializes in photographing botanical forms. Her most famous collection is 'The Green Series' which was exhibited many times in various versions.
Other works emphasize natural or man made patterns to create abstract images.
Her range of subjects include portraits. Her most recent exhibition's theme was the relationship of adults to their inner child.
Born in Jerusalem (1949), Leora is married to David, and the mother of Adam and Tal.
Leora completed her academic studies in Hebrew Language and Linguistics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has taken art and photography classes at the Israel Museum and at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. She is a member of The Jerusalem Artists' Association.

Leora's studio is located in the center of Jerusalem, near the King David Hotel. Her works are exhibited there and can be viewed by appointment.
