Leora Cheshin is a photographer and writer. In the last years she publishes books about her own life and about street art.
She specializes in photographing botanical forms. Her famous collection is 'The Green Series' which was exhibited many times in various versions.
Other works emphasize natural or man made patterns to create abstract images. Her range of subjects include portraits and the relationship of adults to their inner child.
Her works are in private collections in Israel, England and the United States and have been published in various magazines, books, cards and calendars.
born in Jerusalem (1949), she completed her academic studies in Hebrew Language and Linguistics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has taken various art and photography classes.
Member of The Jerusalem Artists’ Association, The Plastic Artists' Union , and The Israel Association of Periodical Press.

Leora's studio is located in the center of Jerusalem, near the King David Hotel. Her works are exhibited there and can be viewed by appointment.
